Britcar Endurance Championship
Addspeed are currently a sponsor of a Porsche 997 Cup Car that participates in the Britcar Endurance Championship. This is the Cunningham’s first year of this class having just taken a step up from Britcar production.
Peter and Mark Cunningham of Shaws Glass in Horsham are both very excited about taking on the endurance championship, especially in the Porsche:
“We know we have a very steep learning curve ahead with the new car, however we are relishing the challenge. We have a lot of experience in endurance racing from many years participation in the production championship. We know what it takes to win and there will be no lack of effort from our team”.
Britcar Endurance Championship is driven by professional and gentlemen drivers, the Endurance Championship is the flagship of Britcar. The 2016 season will be made up of 8 weekends of 8 races with 7 to count towards the Championship. Cars will be categorised in one of five classes. The new system of classification will provide a more complete vehicle performance indicator, ensuring that you are racing against other cars of a similar lap time and not just similar engine power.
